He was the ringleader and a standout in a long line of turds who made famous that whole Detroit Lions thing - where they dance around after every tackle and first down reception in the first half of any game and spend the entire second half forlornly explaining away turnovers and overall fuckups with a towel on their heads.

I endorse this observation.

Because I'll never forgive him for 2005, this is Jake Delhomme's statline going back to his 5 interception game against the Cardinals in the 2008 playoffs:

15 games, 5-10 record, 252/450 (56.0%), 2789 YDs (6.2 YPA), 10 TDs, 29 INTs, 55.1 rating.

And, because the Panthers were too dumb to put a clause in Delhomme's contract extension that canceled out the money they owe him if he signs with another team, and because the Browns were dumb enough to actually pay him starter money, Delhomme is making close to 20 million this year.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

Gentleman Jack is a fine beverage, but you need to start listening to Tonker and hop on the Single Malt Scotch bandwagon.

Watching the Cardinals, I'm reminded of the mouthbreathers who argued in the 2007-2008 offseason that the Bears should sign Derek Anderson as a restricted free agent and give up a 1st and a 3rd round pick. Perhaps my white-hot rage exaggerated that into more of a strawman than anything else, but I shudder to think of where this team would have been in that scenario.

And with that, I give you Derek Anderson: UNLEASHED

On the same day it is revealed the Lions will be starting Drew Stanton, no less.  Does he know the game the Lions claim to have won against the Bears earlier this year does not satisfy this "guarantee?"
