Apparently Weber was asked about Jereme Richmond's status after the game and immediately changed the subject. Methinks Richmond won't be around next year.

The important thing is that BC finally got his revenge on Lon Kruger.

Sorry Pex.

I second that.

In other news, Illinois is somewhere between awful and terrible right now. Ugh.

Only down four BC.

They weren't that far off but could never get a serious run together. Know why? They're bad. What a soft, out of shape, bad team. Extremely unlikable bunch of players.

McCamey's next basketball game will probably be in Belgium.

Fuck me.  Virginia Commonwhat, now?  And with the Irish gone, the door was wide open... there are times when I wish I'd made a different choice for my life-long support.

Even worse, things like this only make it harder to explain to Yetti why his schemes are quite so hare-brained.

Your toilet's broken, Dave, but I fixed it.

I would submit that the Illini weren't bad, but rather horribly inconsistent. They had moments where they played excellent basketball against good teams (The North Carolina and Gonzaga games, the first half of both Purdue games, the first half of the home game against Ohio State), but then would follow those up with moments of truly bad basketball.

To me, that points at the coach... Both in his inability to bring in guys that would be more consistent, and in his inability to get the team to win games even when they were inconsistent.

Purdue played like shit away from Mackey this year. In the end, Hummel's injury was too much to overcome. They sure tried but it just wasn't gonna hai. Worst. Injury. Ever.

So every game you watched of them they sucked?

Hummel is a little bitch.  Crying on the sidelines like a girl with feelings.

The Illini looked awesome up until they didn't.  They're just not good enough to play with #1 seed teams.  Their best athletes are like the 7th men on a team like Kansas.  Did that Richmond kid make the trip to the game?

Also he keeps trying to recruit like it's the 1950s.

He was on the bench in warmups.

I will say, to BC's point, that it seems like every year it's all about getting rid of these awful seniors. Well, these guys were Bruce's from the beginning. He had four years to turn these guys into competent, watchable basketball players. While McCamey was good at times he's not an elite player. Davis and Tisdale are absolute garbage. If I was that tall and couldn't find my way into the paint because an average point guard could kick the shit out of me, I'd hang myself.

What a lame team.
