Ryan Theriot: A Tard.

This gives the Cubs at least two wins right off the bat against St. Louis.

This feels like appropriate payback for Aaron Miles.

I think Jim Hendry's the one at fault there and not the Cardinals.

Thanks, asshole. No fucking shit. You're telling me that Jim Hendry signed a player to the Cubs, and not a member of the Cardinals organization? Surely Bort was unaware that the Cardinals front office can't sign someone to the Cubs. We get it, you hate Jim Hendry. My God, you must be the only person on this messageboard to have noticed his incompetence and I thank you for your tireless campaign against him.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

The Cardinals completed another deal, too, signing free agent pitcher Brian Tallet. Theriot and Tallet were teammates on the 2000 LSU team that won the NCAA title.

Further proof'd.

I'm really hoping they trade Ryan and start Theriot at SS... And it'll be fun to get back to those glory days when Cardinals fans loved a small white shortstop that could barely throw the ball over to first base...

Which shows how insignificant the regular season has become, as that 2006 Cardinals team was mediocre all year and even in postseason as well. Really, the Cardinals only won because the Mets pissed away two games in the NLCS (Games 2 and 7) and the Tigers pitchers couldn't throw to first base.

And this is why SI hired BC to narrate their commemorative 2006 Cardinals DVD.
