In other Castillo news, Welington is hitting .706 this spring.

Sorry. Not a veteran presence. Koyie Dolan all the way.

Word on the street it "Nice Spring, kid.  You should play every day, so we are sending you to Des Moines."

I'm not really that upset about it unless Kwade has Lou's inexplicable need to start Koyie at least twice a week. Geovany is looking as svelte as he's ever looked. Maybe start the guy who was the best offensive catcher in baseball as often as possible.

You're not really that butthurt that a dude who is tearing up the Cactus League might get sent down? Your supposed to be butthurt about this. It's March.

Well, I have to have someone worth watching when I go to the Iowa Cubs games. Did they bring back Jason Dubois for his 19th campaign? What about BOBBY SCALES? Did some other team sign Shawn Estes again so I can sit behind the visiting bullpen and remind him of every shitty start he made in 2003? If not, I need Wellington.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

Yeah, there's no point on keeping Beef Wellington on the big league roster if he's not going to play.  Let him get fat(ter) on AAA pitching and, I don't know, develop some trade value, yes?

Or maybe Jon just forgot to put his /nsbb pithy sarcasm tags/ around his impolite dig at Chainsaw Dolan...
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.

This organization is the best.

Let this be a lesson to all of you who have purchased season tickets from the Cubs.  you may be the starting pitcher on opening day.
If I had known that I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.   (Plagerized from numerous other folks)

Samardzija's contract is the best money the Cubs have ever spent, so why not double down with another wide receiver?  Win-win, really.
