Silva's back. Only gave up 8 runs today. Good times.

For a putative "lock" for the rotation, he sure is sucking copious amounts of ass.

Cut that fat bastard, Jimbo!!
This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.

That would cost them $10 million to have him do nothing!  See, if he pitches, he doesn't cost them anything but wins because the money is already spent or something.

How could they let Todd throw away stale hot dogs?

If I was some kind of hotel tycoon or railroad magnate or oil baron I'd contact the Cubs and give them the 10 million dollars to get this clown away from the club forever. Unless of course he was pitching for the Astros or something. That'd be neat.

But yeah, I know what you're saying Chuck. They're going to keep him no matter what, aren't they?

I'd just as soon prefer it that he gets "pushed" down a flight of stairs.  I don't care...

I don't know what you're bitching about. He didn't get the loss today, so he obviously gave the Cubs a chance to win.

13-12 Cubs now. What a sideshow.

Spring baseball is one of those things where I'm glad it starts but I wish it was over immediately.

I'm trying to lsiten to as many preseason games as possible, for several reasons:

1) Len Kasper doesn't suck at broadcasting, and his radio call is on mlb.com.
2) Mick Gillespie is no Judd Sirott. OK, maybe he is.
3) I do enjoy baseball.
4) Listening to bad things happen now is sort of like watching a lot of violence on TV. Eventually, I'll just get de-sensitized to it, and better to be desensitized to bad baseball now than in June.

This whole division is a steaming pile of suck. I predict a six-way tie for second.
