Bizarre weekend in the NFL. Lot of huge passing games. Can't remember the last time there were this many 300 yard games in one weekend.

Was there a last time? I count thirteen 300+ yard showings by QBs so far this week out of the fifteen completed games.

This ties the NFL record, set last year in Week 10.
Last Year: Matt Ryan, Shaun Hill, Kitna, Eli Manning, Matt Hasselbeck, Derek Anderson, Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Cassel, Matt Schaub, David Garrard, Troy Smith, and Michael Vick.

This year: Brady, Henne, Romo, Sanchez, Newton, Brees, Rivers, Ryan, Cutler, Rodgers, Kolb, Grossman, Stafford.

I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

Just one if you limit it to kickers who don't have a big block for a foot.
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

As angry as I was at Denver's sorry showing last night (cost me a little), I am extremely pleased to remember that the Bears will be paying those sacks of shit a visit later this year. And the whole town will be gunning for Cutler. Sometimes life just gives you a moment. That will be a sweet one.

Indeed. Hell, I remember when they were despondent in that town because Cutler came back and wiped the floor with them in the third preseason game in 2009. Glorious.

Yes, Denver is terrible.

The Cal Bears played at Boulder last Saturday.  Although Cal won in overtime, it was obvious to all that they were clearly unprepared for playing at that altitude.  Do pro teams do anything special to prepare for going to Denver?

This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.
