First off. ALL professional athletes have done PEDs except for Frank Thomas.

Secondly, I've been following him closely since I snatched him off the waiver wire early last season. From what I've read, he altered his swing during the second half of 2008 and has seen increased power numbers ever since due to better leverage and plate coverage. He's moved closer to the plate so he can reach the balls on the outer half and drive them.

Yeah, and Sammy Sosa lowered his hands.

Indeed he did. Which would explain how he became a .300 hitter in his late 20s-early 30s. PEDs alone will not make someone a great hitter. Ask any turd slumping around at AAA with an assful of needle marks and a teste satchel of raisins. Stating that somebody in baseball did roids is like saying somebody in politics lied.

Congress and Selig cleaned up the game though, no one uses PEDs anymore. That's what makes Bautista's numbers so interesting.

"In Jose's defense, he has never failed a drug test," said commissioner Bud Selig. "On the other hand, last year at age 29 he suddenly transformed from an established turd of a player with middling home run ability into the most dominating power force the sport has seen in a decade. Sooooooooo ... yeah."

"...established turd..."  Is this a new baseball category?

Not new. It's been around since Mary Magdeline and Jesus.

But any reasoning about Bautista's home run surge being the result of PED use is based on an assumption that he wasn't on it prior to 2009. That's fucking meatball shit.

USADA has formally accused Lance Armstrong of doping.

Huzzah!!!
This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.
