He is not swinging the bat well. I would bet there is something wrong with his hand or wrist. Stay tuned.

Dude's been in a brutal slump for a week and is still batting .275 for the year.

I do question batting him third, though.  I don't know why MY KWADE doesn't just put Pancakes #3 and bat Pena in the cleanup spot, put Byrd or Soriano 5th or 6th etc., but there's really no need to pile on the guy when he's just in a bad stretch.  At least not yet.
