Let me help you with this issue.

He's really not worth this level of questionably-formatted asshurt. All that matters is how he's hitting in July. If he can get it going in time to be traded for something semi-useful (not Izturis or DeWitt, I mean useful) the rental is worth it. And they can't take him out of the lineup unless Castro and Ramirez start throwing better. So spread the asshurt around a little and see how this all plays out.

Yesterday is now his second-best day as a Cub. Other than the two prior to that, in which he dong-ed out in the Ravine. That's three in four games, home skillet.
