FYStew for yesterday.

Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

You guys still don't get it. Stew is responsible for this. We should be thanking him.

He raised his BA by .27 points in one day and still hasn't reached his miserable average last year.

No way. As soon as I dropped him from my fantasy team he started hitting bombs. You can thank me.

And once you point out Stew's reverse psychology it loses its affect.

According to the Cubs, Mr. Pena weighs 225.  As a result of his recent hot streak he is batting .198.  Darwin Barney. who allegedly weighs 180, and earns less than 5% of what Mr. Pena earns gets paid, is batting .316.

I can't wait until the Cubs get Prince and he gets off to a slow start.

Unless the Cubs put a truck scale in the clubhouse, I could not post a similar comment as to Mr. Fielder.

There's no truck scale in the clubhouse?

Yet another example of the Cubs' 97-year-old ballpark holding them back.

This $10 million per year super star goes on an offensive binge (for him) and still fails to approach the level that usually results in the designating for assignment of a minimum salaried rookie.

None of this matters.  The world is going to end a week from Saturday, around 6:00 pm Pacific Time.  I am going to have a hell of a lunch that day.  I may even eat eggs.  Cholesterol?  Who cares?
