Best Fans in Baseball are on Twitter.

This was unfuckingbelievable last night. Debate butthurt is a minor itch compared to this.

The Cardinal fans on my Facebook were surprisingly calm. A few mentioned how the Cubs finished, but I don't care. Also, I enjoy the fact that a bunch of fans said they didn't need Pujols to win it.... Ummm, but you lost in the NLCS? Isn't that worse than you did the year before with Pujols. Suck it, fags

Just glorious.  I think my favorite part is that they were done in by scrappy little Marco Scutaro. After watching guys like Eckstein, Skippy Shumacher, Descalso and Kozma come up big, it was very enjoyable to watch the Cardinals die by the same gritty sword.
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

Pete fucking Kozma. It was nice to see him choke it away like the AAAA player he is.

Also nice to see Holliday make the last out by popping out to Scutaro.

I didn't see any of it. It's nice to read about it all here though. My Tardenfreude is tempered considerably by the two championships they've won in the last seven seasons. Nothing will make this better until the Cubs win one.

Yep - we can laugh and enjoy this but if anyone thought, "Now they know how the Cubs felt" just stop it. Stop it now. They know how it feels to win a World Series and also how it feels to gum down a Chef Boyardee meal straight out the ice box.

He'd had a kind of massive June in Colorado before falling back to Earth. When he got traded away from Coors at the deadline, everyone figured the regression would be locked in for good. Instead: .362/.385/.473/.859 (145 OPS+) in 61 games for the Giants

.402/.421/.518/.939 in September and October (regular season).

.500/.533/.607/1.140 in the NLCS.

Age 36.

SeƱor Octubre.

One announced he would kill anyone who posted "Not In the Cards" if the Cardinals lost, only to post it himself in all caps at the end of the game.  Another decided to go on offense (unlike the Cardinals) and pre-emptively attacked the Cubs for not even making the playoffs so you Cubs fans can't say nothing because Cubs suck Cubs suck Cubs suck, you Boys Town faggots.  QED.
You two wanna go stick your wangs in a hornet's nest, it's a free country.  But how come I always gotta get sloppy seconds, huh?
