There are very few things in life that I enjoy more than the Cubs sweeping the Cardinals.

Hummers, maybe.  Kuma's Led Zep.  Two or three really good martinis.  But that's about it.

On an unrelated note, how's your fitness routine going? Are you still running? I'm up to 10K two or three days a week. Thinking about a half marathon in the future.

Running in South-East Asia is basically impossible: even if you can find somewhere to do it (and mostly, you can't) it's way too hot and humid.  My weight's pretty stable though, at least, so although I'll be more or less starting from scratch when I get back, I'm hopeful that I'll get back up to speed pretty quickly.

Off topic: I missed the front end of this, but just how long are you going to be in SE Asia? Seems like you've already been there longer than the US was.

STonk and the kids arrived in Thailand in the second week of January and will be back in NL in the middle of August.  I joined them at the end of February and will be back in NL at the beginning of August.  We've seen Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam and Malaysia, STonk's currently in Indonesia (Bali) for a week by herself, and there's Sri Lanka, Singapore and South Korea still to come.

Grichuk sucks ass but he's also their best defensive OF. Fowler is average at best defensively and that's a larger CF than he had in Chicago. Piscotty is Matt Murton all of the way around. Aledmys Diaz regressing to being a liability on both sides of the ball has been fun, too.
