Assuming average odds of evens (if you see what I mean), had you placed a $100 accumulator on those seven results you'd have ended up with over twelve large in your pocket for beer and pussy over the festive period.  Merry Christmas!

You're both right. I'm going to do one for December this week but I'll just post it once and let you guys get back to your analysis and FroDog quotes.

Some vintage MJ.

Interview from 1989 with Jim Rose right before the first season with Phil.

Fun watch, for both the content and the awesomeness of how everyone dressed in 1989.

The Bulls begin December with a stirring (I didn't watch it) win over Philly and continue to straddle the 8 hole in the East. They're back over .500, a mark that may not be sufficient for playoff berth afterall. The giant, swirling and brownstained bowl of suck that is this conference between 2-15 benefits all combatants except perhaps for Washington which is banking heavily on the Cody Zeller (heh) Nerlens Noel (yay?) sweepstakes.

They are in the bottom 10 in scoring at 94.5 but that is not as low as I thought it would be. They're ahead of the Pacers and Sixers, two teams expected to compete for the final playoff spots in the East, and two teams that will eventually get their best player back.

So the Bulls, I think, had better step on it while those two teams heal. Now.

December:

12/4 vs. Ind. - L
12/5 @ Cle. - W
12/7 @ Det. - W
12/8 vs. NYK - L
12/11 vs. LAC - L
12/12 @ Philly - L
12/15 vs. BKN - W
12/17 @ Mem. - L
12/18 vs. Bos. - L
12/21 @ NYK - L
12/22 @ ATL - W
12/25 vs. Hou - W
12/26 @ Ind. - L
12/29 vs. Was. - W
12/31 vs. Cha. - W

Record on New Year's Day: 15-15.

Come on good draft pick! Pex, I didn't give you enough credit, I thought this team would overperform.
Long season to go, but so far so good.

Yahoo didn't go with a "Rip Has Tear" headline?

I don't even know them any more.

I would give the Twolves any Bulls-related asset other than Rose - including BH's season tickets in press row next to Slezak - to get Kevin Love.

Also, I'm pretty sure Eli scooped Woj MONTHS AGO when he mentioned Love as a possibility on this very website.

It would be an amazing combination with Love and Rose growing together. The T-Wolves braintrust is so incompetent that they may see "any Bulls-related asset other than Derrick Rose" as a valuable commodity. I hope this happens.

Agree, give up Noah, deng, taj, mirotic, our first round pick, whoever the Wolves want to get kevin love.
Any team would want Love, he'd fit in great with our coaching staff. Plus him and Derrick are good friends.

I demand a producer's credit if this happens.

My god - if they could get Love.

That article was infuriating. It's like the Wolves management is intentionally trying to stink forever.

Just for fun:

This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.
