Washington Redskins outside linebacker Brian Orakpo went down with an injury to his left shoulder late in the first quarter of his team's preseason matchup with the Chicago Bears on Saturday night.

Shortly after Orakpo's injury, safety Brandon Meriweather was helped off the field with a leg injury.

Orakpo tried to tackle Bears wideout Devin Hester after Hester made a catch in the flat. But as Orakpo stretched out his left arm to grab Hester, the receiver spun off Orakpo, stretching his arm backward, and then turned up field. Orakpo fell to the ground and grabbed his left arm. Trainers tended to him before he was helped off the field and taken to the trainers' table behind Washington's bench.

I can't find any high school stats (just this scouting report) but little mention of any significant WR experience there.

I don't think he's ever going to be a good NFL WR, or even really a passable one, but it's at least a reasonable point being made here.

Let him rotate with Jeffery between the 20s so you can occasionally go deep to him, then let Jeffery take all the snaps in the red zone where route running is less important and "go up and get the fucking ball" is everything.
