I'm also hoping that Hester will finally become a productive wide receiver in his fifth season of playing the position, at age 30.

You just said it. 5th year playing the position. Other NFL wideouts have played position for 6-8 years before they even make it to the NFL. It's his time now. If he doesn't do it this year, he never will, and I'll shut up, take my medicine. It'll be fine.

But with P'Nut in the Pro Bowl it's time for a new cause. A new mission. I've got to get Devin the ball more often.

Your mission is to get more touches for the 4th receiver?  If Hester catches 15 balls this year and takes 2 or 3 of them to the house because he's going to be covered by the modern-day equivalent of John Mangum, I'll be more than satisfied.

I want 40 and 5.

And if he doesn't will you shut the fuck about this?
The whole fuck?

Please tell me you did that on purpose.

That's where I and Mr. Pex disagree most profusely. Hester doesn't seem like he'll get many snaps in the red zone thanks to Jeffery. Those are going to need to be 10 long TDs. Either way, the staff needed a shake up. I found myself agreeing with myself on nearly everything.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

Agreed. Hester's TDs will be 40 yards or longer, and it will make me feel good in ways that are uncomfortable to describe. I think 5 long TDs would mean great things for the Bears, but if he gets 10, the 1985 Bears will be looked upon as significant to the city's sports history as the 1981 Sting.

As long as the three receivers who aren't Marshall combine for 8 balls for 157 yards every week, I'm okay with whoever's getting them. They used everybody properly. Look at Marshall first on every single play and if he's got fewer than four guys on him, throw it to him. If he's got four guys on him, Think about throwing it to him. Then maybe go deep to Devin or Alshon. If it's 3rd down, Earl's going to be open, so don't worry about it.
