This show rules.  Jeremy Brett was the best Homes, but I'm glad Benedict Cumberbatch isn't trying to recreate that and instead playing him as a bit manic.  It works fine.

I love all the callbacks to the original stories they put in, especially in the first episode. It put fanboys like me at ease because it's obvious how much the writers love the source material.

Also, this show has the best take on Moriarty I've ever seen anywhere.
