Peanut (foot) and Briggs (ankle) looked a step slow too. Chris Conte needs to hurry back. HGH being a helluva drug and what not, there could be some improvement in the back seven this weekend. There will ahve to be. Major Wrong is not our friend.

This a thousand times. If he could make just one tackle, the Bears probably win Sunday.

Or catch one interception.

I'm looking forward to this Vikings game. Interested to see how many times Peanut punches Jared Allen in his tiny balls.

I'm hoping J'Marcus Webb breaks him in two.

I'll be at the game on Sunday, so I'll have better perspective on all of this than you people. I'll have to give my expert opinion to Doug and OB on the way home.

Are you sitting next to BH or Slezak? Or do you have the middle seat?

Maybe next to Joe Cowley, too.

Last time I was in the Metrodome, Brian Urlacher sat out, I was in the Hormel Hot Dog Row of the Game and got a free hot dog, Rex Grossman began to lead the Bears back from a somewhat significant deficit before shredding his knee 60 yards from me, Jonathan Quinn showed he was at least half as well-equipped to complete the comeback as Will Furrer ever was, and I walked out of the depressing cave to a 75-degree sunny day to find out Kerry Wood let the Mets bat around in the first inning en route to a 3-2 loss. More hilarity preceded and followed the event, but, yeah, it sucked. May your time in the Rollerdome be brighter.

This was of course the day after Ryan Dempster and LaTroy Hawkins shit the tub and allowed Victor Diaz his day in the sun.

I'm just glad you could find yet another thread to bitch about Dempster in.

To remind all of you bullshit tolerators of your tolerance for bullshit.

He's coming back you, know.

It'll be great when he comes back you.

Huey's too big for come back.

My one trip to see the Bears in the Humpdome was in 2001, a convincing pwnage by the beloved with a second-year Urlacher roaming sideline to sideline (sigh), so I hope Sunday's game is more reminiscent of the one I went to than the TJ went to.
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

Webb's strategy of letting Allen run past him untouched, hoping he might trip on the turf monster, is ambitious but rubbish.
You two wanna go stick your wangs in a hornet's nest, it's a free country.  But how come I always gotta get sloppy seconds, huh?

Am I wrong to be more worried about Chris Conte's health than Urlacher's? Now they finally have a chance to see what Zorich can do there.

Yes, you are wrong.  VERY wrong.

Debilitating injuries to integral players? Woeful drafting and a lack of organizational depth?

Obviously the answer is to fire the nine year head coach with a winning record and a Super Bowl appearance to his credit.
This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.

Chuck hopes they lose out the season, so a "house cleaning" can begin.

"Coaches and the older players".

Presumably clearing out the latter to make room for all the young guys the Bears have languishing in the minors. Brett Jackson for Mike linebacker.

I'll be sitting next to Dad, so I'll be the guy on TV beating his father after Cutler throws 1 INT after 4 TD passes and he shouts "that's why he's not an NFL quarterback, and the Chicago Bears are about running the ball, anyway."*

How'd that work out for you?  Or did your Dad join in the Vikings fans reminding you that there are times that Cutler is lazy, throws off his back foot, and sucks donkey dick as an NFL QB*...because while receivers didn't catch some key balls, the long and short of this game is that Cutler inexcusably threw it away.

Cutler is absolute trash.  There's much more wrong than him - the o-line and a joke of a receiver corps after B-Marsh, but Cutler is a huge fucking liability right now with his penchant for throwing balls right to the numbers of opposing defenders in situations where he's not under pressure and has time to make a decision.

Unfortunately we haven't been bad enough lately to draft a viable QB, but it's time to trade, if necessary, to draft a franchise QB, cut Cutler, suck for a year or two, rebuild the line, and actually build a good team.  This patchwork mediocre bullshit of no line, one receiver, an inconsistent and retarded QB, aging defense, and washed up, loser, fucktards for coordinators is a giant fucking trainwreck.  Time to euthanize the Bears career of just about everyone associated with it and start over.

So were the Bears.

So were the Packers, for that matter.
