APRIL FOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Yankees have asked first baseman Derrek Lee if he would come out of retirement and join the team as Mark Teixeira's replacement.

I didn't know Derek Lee had retired.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

Javier Baez may not make the Chicago Cubstinks this year, but boy is he hitting them today in Arizona
Andre Dawson paid his $1,000 fine for the Joe West incident with style. Dawson wrote ``Donation for the blind`` in the memo section of his personal check.

My son in Japan only gets to see games that have a Japanese interest involved, so he watched the Cubs' split squad play a Japanese team.  On Skype yesterday he said that he had only two words for me,  "Javier Baez'.

Probably because he hit a ball yesterday that may had ended up in your son's front yard.  That was his third home run in I believe 4ABs (and the first 3 HRs were on 3 consecutive pitches).

It's something like this...

CAN JAVIER BAEZ HIT IN THE MAJORS RIGHT NOW?!?

Then it's your classic Al stuff, Gary Scott mention, Michah Hoffpauir, Scott McClain.

Then a story about Rogers Hornsby, Billy Williams and Ron Santo.  Then some more Ron Santo.

Something something Corey Patterson.

In conclusion, the answer is "probably" but Al doesn't recommend it.  Or advocate it.  So don't yell at him, man.

I got distracted right away by the fact that there's some kid named Khristopher Davis with the Brewers.

Fix'd.
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

You know, part of me wants to believe that you intentionally misspelled "semen," but with you, I just don't know anymore.
This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.
