Here is an answer to the question I recently asked about whether there was a movie worth seeing.  Go see "Mud".

Overcome your aversion to seeing Mathew McConaughey movies.  Although he plays the character "Mud", he is not the star of the movie.  It features two 14 year old boys who are remarkably good actors.  They set out exploring a river in Arkansas and happen upon a fugitive who is hiding on an island.  The plot develops nicely and there is a very exciting finale.    McConaughey is shirtless for less than 2% of the movie.
