I'm fine with Grace.  I'm sure he'd love a chance to move back to Lincoln Park and not have to worry about driving to work.  Of course I'm always partial to DAY VOTTO but I'm pretty sure his best chance was when he lost out to Moreland.  I'll be driven to PANKRAGE if it's Hollandsowrth or DeRosa (I'm not even considering that muppet Theriot as a serious contender).

I don't follow this stuff as closely as you all do and assumed DeRosa and Hollandsworth were comedic choices. Are they actually being considered? Am I mistaking this Pankpost for sincerity? Is that still a fool's errand here?

I think there was a grace period after the RT button came out, since some people didn't like it at first. But we're long past that and it's pretty obvious why people do it now.

Yes, I said it.  When you go to my profile, all you see is my avatar/logo/face. Why would I want to advertise someone else's twitter in my feed?  Why am I working hard to build my business, spread my message, strengthen my credibility if I'm just going to mirror back tweets from twenty other people?

Why should I be compelled to advertise someone else's Twitter feed when I'm the one sharing their content with my followers? #Branding

It gives you an opportunity to comment.

I can't help it, I prefer the comment at the front of the Tweet.  This also can serve as the start of a conversation.

Remember, Twitter is about the conversation, not just pressing buttons.  You do want to talk to people, right?

And they wrote back thank you and what-have-you.

Nothing about that surprises me. That's exactly what they're doing. Expanding their brand and putting their face out front. I get it but people who fall for it are fucking insane. Twitter is an echo chamber as is - all of these people just RT the same dudes with their face on it.
