DPD. Finally had some Zombie Dust, and yes I'm a derptard for not making drinking it sooner. My detailed review: beer taste good.

Northdown Taproom has like 8 different kinds of 3 Floyds. Jackpot.

And only a short stumble from my house.  May have to put out the Oleg signal.

That's the place where the barmaid with the enormous eagle tattooed across her tits accused me of being Australian.  Australian!  I mean, I ask you.  Other than that, though, great beer and good grub.

Oleg doesn't live there any more, though - he moved into Kuma's.

I'm 5 blocks from Northdown and 9 blocks from Kuma's.  Life is good.

Well, few Americans can place a Danish accent.

I'm pretty sure that Ski does actually think I'm Danish.

I've got a bottle of Unita Birthday Suit Cherry Ale that I'm never going to drink. First one to show up gets it.

My son just posted this on his Facebook page:  (I can't believe that he needs advice about beer)

"I am visiting las Vegas soon. Can you give me some craft beer suggestions for my trip? I will have a car and a designated driver. Thank you in advance"

Craft beer in Vegas?

I'm not sure he understands the whole idea of "Las Vegas."

But...trying to be helpful - he's probably going to have access to some good West Coast options.

If he the one in Japan? If so, these will all likely be new to him.

Tell him to look for anything from Ballast Point, Odell, Rogue, Deschutes, Oskar Blues and Left Hand.

Those will likely be readily available and all will suffice.

If he's looking for hyper-local, Nevada isn't really well-known for local micro-breweries.
Here's a list of all the brewers in Nevada - I can't really speak to any of them, except Gordon Biersch which is very unremarkable.

You forgot Sierra Nevada.

Speaking of which...

Tons of Westy 12 left at Binny's Lincoln Park. I'll be heading there after work.

You mean you weren't camping out at 5 AM like a common Penfoe?

$85.00 for a six pack?  Don't ask me.  I heard it on NPR
http://www.npr.org/blogs/thesalt/2012/12/12/166987378/a-sign-from-above-needing-new-roof-monks-sell-rare-beer-in-u-s.

$94.68 with tax, thankyouverymuch.

Poser.

I EARNED this beer, man.

The place I went ended up getting 36 total 6-packs and they were all sold out before the store opened at 8 am.

I don't know if Boulder has more committed beer snobs than Lincoln Park (per capita probably, but doubtful on total) but that's really surprising if it holds true and you can get one that late in the day.
