So fruit type beers = suck

In Germany, it isn't uncommon to put cola in a dunkelweiss.. I tried it, it was alright. Wasn't as good as the dunkelweiss by itself,
which was outstanding.

Dogfish Head makes a berlinerweiss called Festina Peche. It's made with peaches. It's tart as hell and I quite like it.

See?  And he doesn't care who knows it.

The Festina Peche is actually pretty good.

They used to have it on tap at Silver Cloud - easily one of my favorite bars in Bucktown - and then one day this summer I went in and asked for it. They said they got rid of it and told me I was the only one that liked it. Goddamn you to hell, Bucktown.

I'm pretty sure I had it at Sheffield's, but only had it after Mrs. Butthead ordered one. So that probably doesn't help the argument for drinking fruity beers.

Hey Slak, at the Whole Foods here in North Scottsdale, you can get 4-packs of Festina Peche, right next to the 6-packs of DFH's Aprihop.

Honestly, that's it. I don't love Aprihop - it's drinkable. Festina is great though. I'll drink that on purpose and often.

I've never had either of them, actually...I just wanted to see if you'd admit to being gay.

New Belgium's Frambozen (a raspberry brown ale) is actually a rather drinkable winter brew, as long as you stop after one of them.

I think 90 is way better than 60, personally.

The Indian Brown Ale is pretty good too....though I think the 90 Minute is definitely far superior.
