OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Of course I did. The Cubs won and played well.

However, it's a little sad that Arrieta's probable career year is being wasted on another tanked season, but maybe they can trade him for some good prospects.

Maybe someone who's not almost 30?

I know Arrieta has to go out and execute the pitches, but how much of this (as well as Samardzija's great start) can we attribute to Chris Bosio? Can we effectively say he's doing a great job, Edwin Jackson be damned?

Not to mention all the Feldmans and Hammels and Maholms and Woods that have had success in the last few years. I think it's safe to say that Chris Bosio is the Kris Bryant of pitching coaches.

Just so the numbers don't get lost:

Season: 64.2 IP, 49 H, 13 ER, 74 K, 16 BB, 1.81 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, 1.95 FIP. 10.3 K/9, 4.63 K/BB
June: 39.1 IP, 21 H, 4 ER, 48 K, 6 BB, 0.92 ERA, 0.68 WHIP

Crazy, crazy stuff.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.
