I'm very much not a fan of limiting our keepers to five.  For two years I've been stashing young players on that shitty team I took over and I'm not only going to keep five of them.

We keep as many as we were going to and the new guys have to pick from what gets cut.  We all know that there are still good players available after the keepers are selected.  The purpose of a keeper league is to build a team over time.

So if you're an expansion team and your team sucks for a couple of years at the start--well join the friggin' club.  There should be no limit on keepers.  It's one of the very best things about this league.

Just to clarify - we're only limiting the guys you protect to 5.

Then the expansion draft happens, where you'll probably lose one guy. 

Then you can go back and keep anyone else who wasn't taken. 

So, basically you're going to keep everyone you want except for 1 guy who Oleg or Chuck will steal.

Doesn't matter as much for the expansion draft, but in the full draft you'll have to make either Rondon or Gordon a 12.
