Sounds like Trevor Van Riemsdyk, he of 18 NHL games (last one November 16th) is drawing in tonight.

Via con Dios, kid.

We get it, your support for Joel Quenneville is as nuanced as every other feeling you've ever had.

Especially when he lit a fire under Vermette (and Teravainen) when HE BENCHED THEM IN GAME 3 OF THE WCF, AMIRITE?

In all seriousness, I kinda feel sorry for the Lightning.  They don't even know that last night was their last victory of the season.

You wouldn't say that if your father was here.

I do find the terror from so many Hawks fans nauseating. They were just here a series ago. They're here nearly every series, they win most of them. Not saying you have to be happy about being down 2-1 but they've got quite the track record. I'm not worrying till Tampa's got that 3rd win, dammit.

Maybe this is just because I'm not as emotionally attached to hockey, which, even with football's recent downfall, has only taken the spot of third favorite sport behind baseball and Panamanian Bear Wrestling, but I ain't scared.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

I watched the game with him last night.  Sheesh, if you thought Troy Murray was exceedingly down afterward*.  It's gotta be those 75+ years of Cub fandom, damn them.

*Of course I didn't openly dare suggest it was the Lightning's last win in the old man's presence, just more subdued positivity which he was still having none of.

The Hawks should have scored 5 last night.

Bah. Maybe young punks like SKO can still watch that watered down crap, but let's face it, the sport was never the same once Noriega was ousted.
