That said, he's done well most of the year but I don't know that we've seen a "nails" performance (i.e. 8 IP 1 or fewer runs) in several weeks now.

Much like Jon, I'd also like to thank McCutchen and Aramis for going down meekly on the first pitch in both of their ABs. I'm not sure I could have handled a long, dramatic at bat by either. Aramis hitting a key home run off of Cubs pitching in a big game is a recurring nightmare.
