None of these have made a decent movie since winning the Oscar. I didn't include Affleck, since his Oscar is for screenplay...

I went with Cuba Gooding Jr., since I still have nightmare's about those damn Pepsi commercials he did.

What'd Whoopi Goldberg win for, Ghost?  Actually, looking at this list, I think maybe the voting status of the Academy members is what needs to be revoked.

Nah, I checked it out on IMDB and she was nominated for Color Purple but lost.  The Oscar win was for Ghost.

Kevin Costner for "Dances with Cliches"
"Forest Gump (aka Running to Nowhere)" for winning over Shawshank.
James Cameron for "Titanicly Boring" over "Good Will Hunting."

I think the all-time worst was having Shakespeare In Love winning out over Saving Private Ryan.

Go a bit further back...

1942 How Green Was my Valley wins over...... Citizen Kane

1981 Ordinary People wins over ....Raging Bull

1991  Dances with Wolves wins over .... Goodfellas

Can they take back all of Kostner's Oscars?
Andre Dawson paid his $1,000 fine for the Joe West incident with style. Dawson wrote ``Donation for the blind`` in the memo section of his personal check.

Hollywood hates Scorsese.  They hate that he goes overseas to film a lot of his flics.  I was told on the night of this year's oscars by a retired assistant studio head that they were never going to give Martin his due because they just don't like him.

Raging Bull
Goodfellas
Taxi Driver
The Aviator

There ya go.

Hey, they gave Roman Polanski an Oscar, and he's been overseas for years.  Of course, that's because he's dodging a rape conviction.

So what is the excuse for never giving Clint Eastword a best actor award?

Yeah, they booed a director (who won for making a political documentary) for making a political statement, and gave a standing ovation to a child molester.

Morans.

I think the all-time worst was having Shakespeare In Love winning out over Saving Private Ryan.

"Ryan" won best screenplay, best cinematography and best director. Which means it was the best written, best shot, and best directed picture. The Weinsteins just called in every favor they had.

Although, Gwynneth showed her boobies, and there were no boobies in "Saving Private Ryan"...
