So far this season, JHey has been downright adequate with his OPS+ of 115.

In fact (keeping in mind that it's still April), his current offensive numbers align almost perfectly with his 2015 numbers.

His K/BB rates are a matching 10.5%, his hard contact rate is the highest it's been since his rookie year, and he's hitting grounders at a career low rate.

I don't know if I believe yet, but there are reasons to believe this is sustainable and he's actually fixed something. Last year even when he was off to his "good" start his OBP was actually below his career rate and he was selling out by swinging at the first hittable pitch he saw. Once pitchers adjusted he was right back where he was in 2016. This year he's just doing all of the things he did before he was a Cub so far.
