Here's the difference as I see it, most everyone else is either reacting after the thread is posted, or in Tonk's case reacting to thinking it was posted.  You are the only one who begins flooding the messageboard and the Shoutbox (RIP) with WHERESTHEDEADPOOLPOST ... at 12:01 on January 1st and whinges ceaselessly until Thrill finally posts the damn thing.

Were you people able to read the subject line or not? The only reaction I had was "Mackenzie Phillips outlasts another one."

[Edit.—On further recollection, I perceived a brief mental seize-up in which which the "Bonnie Franklin" circuit was triggered and received separate replies. First was "finally dead?" Then "wait, already dead?" The resolution of course was "read post." However, interpreted as a Gedankenexperiment, it occurs to me that it might have represented a nontrivially interesting way of connecting object-oriented AI models to experiment back in the day, with the remaining question being whether there was a realizable fMRI/PET instantiation: What replies can a BonnieFranklin object return? Why the delay? Were there two messages? Etc.]

This has proved to be a poor criterion for me in the past, although I did at least take care in choosing the particular inmates.
