The point about Twitter is a) not everybody's from the Shoutbox is on there, b) it lacks the same immediacy and isn't really suited to group discussions, and c) there are real people on there from our actual lives so we can't have... erm... the type of conversations... that we sometimes have in the Shoutbox.  I think you know what I'm saying.

I never understood what was happening in the shoutbox, so I never really went there. It felt like it was moving too fast and it was always in the middle of a conversation that confused me so I'd check it out for about 30 seconds and leave. The last time I remember actually talking in it was during the 2008 All-Star game... and that was on Kerm's site I think.

I don't know what my point is, but Twitter is OK I guess. Maybe it's all dumb. But not as dumb as Facebook.
