Still so bad.  Way too much laughing at his own unfunny jokes.  (Seriously, like every single line cracks him up.  Wtf?)  What a shame.

Trevor Noah sucks too. He also laughs at a lot of his own jokes.

Also true. And his laugh is more annoying.

The job clearly should have gone to Samantha Bee. That was true even before her show debuted.

I was in favor of a Sam Bee / Jason Jones parody of Fox & Friends.  That would have been excellent.

This is why the phrase "jumped the shark" was coined.  They had a lot of notice that John Stewart was leaving.  Trevor Noah was the best they could find?  Maybe he had photographs.

Perfect example.  Here is a topic where the idea is really strong, and the execution (not the video clips, but Noah himself) is poor. He had a couple good moments (South Africa and India, basically) but  John Stewart would have destroyed this.

In fact, I really feel a bit robbed that we don't have John Stewart for this election cycle. I can't imagine how good he would have been. This is truly tailor-made for him and he retired right before.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

I agree. I wonder if he would have stayed if he'd known the Trump thing would run this long.

I agree that J-O-N Stewart would be killing it this election cycle.

Racist. John Stewart would have done just fine.
