Is World Series MVP good?

My son in Tokyo just Facetimed me.  He knew the final score, but nothing else about the game.  He told me not to tell him anything about it.  All I told him was that he would never guess who turned out to be the hero of the game.

Now that I think about it, I can't honestly say that there was only one hero.  Zobrist?  Sure.  Schwarber? Sure.  Bryant?  Sure.  Baez, (especially for defense)? Sure.  Hendricks?  Sure.  The whole damn team...?   Don't mind me.  I am still giddy.

It really was an incredible team effort. I think they drew Zobrist's name out of a hat to give him the MVP. They just as easily could have awarded it to Schwarber, Bryant, Russell, or Rizzo.

I enjoy the people asking why Joe could be so stupid as to play Zobrist over Baez as though Zobrist was not a 4 win player last year, mostly at 2B, who also won world series MVP, and also forgetting that Javy just had a two error game Tuesday.

Ehh he doesn't look all that different than he did last April/June/July. He's still getting on base even as he isn't hitting. If this lasts another couple of weeks I'll start to worry.

I did enjoy when one of the BP Wrigleyville guys (who has kind of always dislike Zobrist because he was mad they traded away Castro) asked "was 2016 worth 3 years of declining defense/production" and the rest of Cubs twitter basically responded with "fucking yes, you moron"

Nah it was Stan Crewsett. Castro was his favorite player and they traded him and he pretty much decided that day to shit on Zobrist whenever possible.

He was also very fond of Jorge and when that trade was made he basically ranted about how Davis was clearly hurt and Jorge was too valuable etc.
