That game was probably completely meaningless and it came against the Angels and was mostly drama free, yet Carl Edwards Jr wandering in and sticking it up Mike Trout's ass is going to be one of my favorite moments of the season.

In the meantime, seeing Edwards sack up against two likely Hall of Famers made me tingly in my man parts.

I was actually impressed that he had the brains to be careful with Pujols even after jumping out 0-2 on him.  Pujols didn't offer at the stuff off the plate and eventually made good contact in the at-bat after forcing the count full, but I was bracing for a big letdown for Carl after the high of making Trout look silly in a big situation the previous at-bat.

He certainly wasn't flawless in the postseason, but I think we saw a lot more good than bad from him this year. 

Excited for this kid's long-term future, regardless of role.
