This season was kind of like driving the Hana Highway. Lots of twists and turns, some fucked up pavement in spots, but by the time it's over you can't believe how glorious it all was.

So happy you got to see it Stew.  Now that they've won one for you - and everyone else we love that didn't quite see it - it'd be nice if they can win one for the rest of us sometime a little quicker than 108 years from now.

This team is so much better than any good Cubs team, I have cheered for: 1984, 1989, 1998, 2003, 2007, 2007, etc. A very worthy group of guys to remember.

I think it all started to hit me on the way in to the office this morning.  I reserve the right to erupt again at any moment. (Tears, dancing, who knows?  I'm in uncharted waters here.)

Running on four hours of sleep. Still no tears of any kind; I guess that's just not how I work. I find that I fluctuate between crushing anxiety and contentment when the Cubs are playing. I'm incredibly happy for the team and the fans... everybody deserves this.

My son is two years old. He'll be told about the 108 years of mediocrity, but he'll never experience or understand it like we do. To me, that's really just about the best part of this.
