Good sendoff for Michael. Funny and not overly sappy. I thought Ferrell was hilarious in his first episode but he has gotten decreasingly funny since then.

Agreed. I was worried they were going to go over-the-top sappy with it, but it was well done.

However, the ending tag with Will Ferrell was so terrible I wondered if it was intentional, meant as meta-commentary (with Dwight looking at Jim and saying, "Oh no") on everyone saying that the post-Michael Office will suck.  Unfortunately, I don't think it was.

Also, Erin is going to be the baby that Phyllis gave up.  According to various Internet comment threads, which are always right.

I enjoyed when Michael was putting his trophy on the desk and the camera jumped to the same angle as the opening credits.  Twas a sad night last night

The silent "that's what she said" was a perfect sendoff.

I'm the opposite of you on Ferrell.  I don't think he's ever been hilarious on this show.  HOWEVAH, I thought the puppy stuff and how he got the job stuff was pretty funny last night.  "Do you know how to high 5?"  "yes"  "Now's the time to do it if you do."

I really liked Gabe in the bathroom and then Jim spotting the camera in the mirror.  "you guys are filming people in the bathroom now?"

I liked it.  I liked the Spader stuff.  I liked the Ray Romano stuff.  I liked Gabe.  I liked the Creed/Pam stuff, too.  I liked it.

The Creed/Pam stuff was good.  The others were just awful.  Jim getting Dwight's name wrong in the interview was funny.

For some reason I thought we would learn who the Scranton Strangler was.  It has to be Gabe.  But it looks like he's going back to Florida.

James Spader is the new boss, per EW.

http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/07/06/james-spader-office/
This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.
